OPSC Dental Surgeon recruitment: Fresh notification for 197 posts issued, details here

OPSC Dental Surgeon recruitment: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications from the prospective candidates through the proforma application form to be made available on the website of the Commission. The link for online application and submission shall be available from 28.04.2023 to 29.05.2023.

A total of 197 Dental Surgeon posts including 65 for women will be filled in Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical Services (Dental) cadre, under the Health & Family Welfare Department in the level-12, Cell-1 of ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual dearness and other allowances as many as sanctioned by the government of Odisha from time to time.

OPSC Dental Surgeon recruitment age limits:

• The candidates should not be below 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years as on January 1, 2023. However, there will be relaxation for the deserving candidates.

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have possessed a BDS or equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
• The applicant also should have a valid Registration Certificate under the “Dentist Act-1948”: Provided that if a candidate outside the State of Odisha has not registered his name under the Odisha Dental Council as per the provision of section 34 of Dental Act, 1948, he shall get himself registered, before issuing of appointment order.
• Have possessed required conversion certificates recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) in case of candidate having degrees from universities of foreign countries.

Examination fee:

• The candidates are exempted from payment of the examination fees.

OPSC Dental Surgeon recruitment place of examination:

• The written examination for the post of Dental Surgeon will be held at Cuttack only. The program of examination shall be notified well in advance.
