The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited fresh online applications for the recruitment of Assistant Director of Textiles.

A total of three OPSC Assistant Director of Textiles will be appointed during this recruitment drive. They would be recruited in Group-B of Odisha Textiles & Sericulture Service (Textile Cadre) under Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department.

OPSC Assistant Director of Textiles recruitment 2022 age limits

A candidate shall not be below 21 years and above 38 years of age as on the 1st day of August, 2022. However, there will be relaxation in the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to scheduled tribes and women.

OPSC Assistant Director of Textiles job educational qualification

A candidate must possess the Degree in textile technology, Spinning and weaving from a recognized institution Or Degree in Textile Chemistry or Diploma in Textile Technology/ handloom technology from a recognized institution with minimum practical experience of three years in the spinning/weaving department of a textile mill or handloom industry or under the State government.

Examination fee for OPSC Assistant Director of Textiles

No examination fee is required to pay for applying or appearing in the recruitment process.

Method of selection of OPSC Assistant Director of Textiles recruitment

In case of the number of eligible candidates is less than fifty, the method of selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of career marking (50 Marks) or Oral test (50 Marks).

Salary of OPSC Assistant Director of Textiles vacancy

Rs 44, 900 to Rs 1,42,400 in level 10 of the Pay Matrix under the ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual dearness and other allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
