Kendriya Vidyalaya recruitment for PGT, TGT and other posts, Check walk-in-interview details

Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Khordha Road has released a notification to invite eligible candidates to apprear for the walk-in-interview for the posts of PGT (Math), TGT (English, Social Science, Physical and Health Education), career counselor and special educator.

According to the notice issued by the institute, the interview will be held in order to prepare a panel of part-time contractual teachers for academic session 2022-23.

Interested and eligible candidates can register themselves from 8 am to 10 am on June 15, 2022. For more details about the walk-in-interview, candidates can visit the Vidyalaya website: https://khurdaroad.kvs.ac.in.”

The recruitment is being done to fulfil PGT(Maths),TGT(English),TGT(SST),TGT(P&HE),Career Councellor and Special Educator posts.

Kendriya Vidyalaya recruitment 2022 Registration & Interview dates

• Availability of registration form: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM On days of the interview (15.06.2022) Candidates may utilise the attached bio-data form in this notification.
• Registration Date and time: 8 am to 10 am on June 15, 2022.
• Date of interview: June 15, 2022.

Mode of Selection:

Offline only through the registration form available at the Registration Centre/ Vidyalaya website.

Eligibility Criteria for Kendriya Vidyalaya recruitment 2022

Educational Qualification

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate MA/M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject. or
Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the required subjects.

Trained Graduate Teacher(TGT): Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate .
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate.

TGT(P&HE): Bachelor Degree in Physical Education or Equivalent.
Desirable: Specialization in indigenous games

Career Counselor: BA/B.Sc.(Psychology)with certificate of diploma in counseling.

Special Educator-TGT: B.Ed.Spl.Ed. or its equivalent from a RCI recognized institute and must be registered with RCI.

Candidates having B.Ed (Special) are not eligible to apply for the post wherever B.ED is required.

Age Limit: 18-65 years.

Terms & Conditions

Part-time contractual appointment is subject to vacancy exists/arises or when a teacher proceeds on long leave. Teachers engaged on contractual basis, would have no claim or right for appointment on a regular basis nor will they be a part of the cadre of teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya.
