Karnataka Police Recruitment 2026: The Karnataka State Police (KSP) is recruiting 1,600 people for the police constable post across the state.
The interested and eligible candidates can submit their application for the recruitment through the KEA portal latest by July 22. The application process started on June 22.
The candidates who successfully pass the recruitment selection process and get the job will be receiving salary ranging from Rs 37,500 to Rs 76,100.
Division of vacancy:
The vacancies for the Armed Police Constable (CAR/DAR) posts are separated into two divisions. The first one is General Karnataka division which has 1,421 vacancies and the second one is Kalyana Karnataka Division with 179 vacancies. The total after combining the both division is 1,600 posts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have passed pre university course, Class 12, or an equivalent examination.
- You must have your marksheet before the application deadline.
- People who donot have their results cannot apply for the job.
- Candidates must have studied Kannada as a first or second language in 10th grade, or must have passed the Kannada test run by KEA.

- Interested candidates must visit the KEA portal and get themselves registered.
- Fill complete and correct details that the form is asking for.
- After the completion of the filling up of form pay the fees for the application.

Fees for the application form:
- General category: Rs 500
- Other eligible candidates: Rs 250
It is to be very well noted that the examination for the posts will be held on September 6. The timing for the examination will be 10.30 AM to 12 PM.
