The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has begun the registration process for various constable and veterinary staff posts. The recruitment drive aims to fill 330 vacancies across different trades, including Carpenter, Plumber, Mason, Electrician, Head Constable (Dresser Veterinary), Constable (Animal Transport), and Constable (Kennelman).

Educational Qualification:
- Constable (Pioneer): Candidates must have passed the 10th grade and hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
- Veterinary Staff post: Candidates must have done Diploma in Veterinary
Age Limit:
- Constable (Pioneer): 18 to 23 years
- Veterinary Staff: 18 to 25 years
Physical Requirements:
- Height: 170 cm for male candidates; 157 cm for female candidates.
- Chest: 80 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm (only for male candidates).
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Selection Process
For Constable (Pioneer) Posts
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates will undergo physical activities to assess their endurance and fitness levels.
- Physical Standards Test (PST): Measurement of height, chest, and weight to ensure candidates meet the required physical standards.
- Written Exam: A test assessing the candidate’s knowledge and aptitude related to the specific trade.
- Trade Test: Practical assessment of skills in the respective trade.
- Detailed Medical Examination: Comprehensive medical examination to confirm fitness for the job.
For Veterinary Staff Posts
- Written Exam: A test to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge in veterinary science.
- Skill Test: Practical evaluation of veterinary skills.
- Document Verification: Verification of educational qualifications and other required documents.
- Medical Examination: Final medical check to ensure fitness for the role.
