Indian Navy Recruitment 2022: Fresh notification for 2500 vacancies issued, class 10 and +2 passed students can apply, salary will be upto Rs 69000

Job seekers who want to make a career in the Indian Navy have got a best opportunity to get a job now as the Indian Navy has issued a fresh notification and invited online applications for the recruitment of 2500 vacant posts.

According to the Indian Navy recruitment 2022 notification, a total of 2500 Sailors Vacancy for Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) posts will be filled up during this recruitment drive.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2022 educational qualifications

  • Artificer Apprentice (AA): Qualified in 10+2 examination and 60% or more marks in Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
  • Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR): Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects: – Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

Indian Navy vacancy 2022 age limits

  • Candidates should be born between 01 Aug 2002 to 31 Jul 2005 (Both dates inclusive).

Pay & Allowances of Indian Navy sailor recruitment 2022

  • During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs 21,700- Rs 69,100).
  • In addition, they will be paid Rs 5200 per month plus DA (as applicable) plus ‘X’ Group pay {only for Artificer Apprentice (AA)} Rs 3600/- per month plus DA (as applicable) as under trainee and Rs 6200/- per month plus DA on successful completion of AICTE recognised Diploma Course}.

Indian Navy vacancy 2022 selection criteria

  • Shortlisting of candidates would be based on aggregate percentage obtained in Physics, Mathematics and at least one of these subjects- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science in the qualifying examination (10+2). Shortlisting will be carried out state wise in a ratio of four times the number of vacancies.
  • The cut off marks may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state-wise manner.
  • The shortlisted candidates would be issued call-up letter for written examination and PFT.
