IAF Medical Assistant Recruitment 2026: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is recruiting for Airmen Group Y positions in 2026. Candidates with a B.Sc, a diploma, or a 12th-grade certificate can apply online. IAF Medical Assistant Recruitment 2026, Eligibility Criteria
- Only Education Boards recognized by the Central Government, State Governments, and Union Territories for 10+2 or equivalent will be permitted.
- The exact aggregate percentage of marks, as stated on the marks sheet, will be considered (for example, 49.99% will be taken as 49% and will not be rounded off to 50%).
Age Limit (as on Date of Birth Block)
For Medical Assistant Trade (10+2 Candidates):
Marital Status: Must be unmarried
Date of Birth: Born between 01 January 2006 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive)
Upper Age Limit on Enrolment: Should not exceed 21 years on date of enrolment
For Medical Assistant (Pharmacist) – Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy Candidates:
Unmarried Candidates: Born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive)
Married Candidates: Born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2006 (both dates inclusive)
Upper Age Limit on Enrolment: Should not exceed 24 years on date of enrolment

- For General/ OBC/ EWS: ₹ 550/-
- For SC/ ST: ₹ 550/-
Pay Scale & Selection Process
• Pay Scale: Rs. 26,900/- per month
• Selection Process: Physical Fitness Test → Written Test → Adaptability Test-II → Medical Examination
