FSSAI recruitment 2026: The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) have opened registration process for recruitment of group A and C posts on a deputation, short term contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Joint Director- Should be officers serving under central government, state governments, Union territories, Government University, recognised research institutions, public sector undertakings statutory bodies or autonomous organisations.
Must have Bachelor’s degree from recognised Institution. For qualification related information the candidates are requested to read the official advertisement from the FSSAI recruitment portal.
- Manager (Information Technology)- Candidates must have B.Tech, MTech, MCA or bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Must meet the required conditions for the position.
- Junior Assistant Grade-II- Must be class 12 pass out. Should have office work experience in relevant field. Should know computer typing and diary and dispatch handling.
Age Limit:
The maximum age of the candidate can be 56 years on deputation and on the last day on application submission.
Number of vacancies and the posts:
Joint Director: 3 posts
Manager (Information Technology): 2 posts
Junior Assistant Grade-II: 10 posts
Tenure:
Initial tenure can be 1/2/3 years depending on the post. It can also extend based on requirements of the organization and government guidelines.
