BTSC recruitment 2025: The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has released a comprehensive recruitment notification to hire eligible candidates for 4,654 vacancies across multiple positions.
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up vacancies for Work Inspector, Hostel Manager, Dental Hygienist, and Junior Engineer (JE) under Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines. The application process will begin on October 10, 2025.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility conditions before applying.
For the Junior Engineer (JE) posts: Candidates applying for these posts must possess a diploma in the relevant engineering stream (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical).
Work Inspector (WI): Passed Matriculation (Class 10) from a recognised board or equivalent institute. Passed trade examination in Draftsman Civil / Surveyor / Plumber from a recognised ITI.
Hostel Manager (HM): Passed B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration OR Graduation with Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management.
Dental Hygienist (DH): Passed 10+2 with Biology as a subject. Two-year Diploma in Dental Hygienist from a recognised institute. Must be registered with the Bihar State Dental Council.
Age Limit:
- For Junior Engineer (JE) posts: 18 to 37 years
- For Work Inspector (WI): 18 to 37 years
- For Hostel Manager (HM): 21 to 37 years
- For Dental Hygienist (DH): 18 to 37 years
Pay Scale:
- Junior Engineer (JE) posts: Pay Level-7 as per 7th Revised
- Work Inspector (WI) posts: As per 7th Revised Pay Structure
- Hostel Manager (HM): Pay Level-4 (Non-Gazetted) in 7th Revised Pay
- Dental Hygienist (DH): Rs 5,200–Rs 20,200 with Grade Pay Rs 2,400; Pay Level-4 in 7th Revised Pay
