According to renowned futurologist Dr. Ian Pearson, a significant shift in intimate relationships is on the horizon. Women will ditch men for robots to satisfy their sexual needs by 2033. He predicts that women will increasingly choose robots to fulfill their sexual desires in 10 years’ time.
Dr. Pearson also predicts women may fall in love with robots, a notion supported by the growing acceptance of AI-infused sex toys, dolls, and the expanding sexual wellness industry, which is redefining the boundaries of human connection and artificial intimacy. Robot sex will be more common than normal sex by 2050.
“Initially, people will be uncomfortable about robots as partners. But as robots become more advanced and human-like, people will get used to them. They will start to form strong emotional bonds with robots.” Pearson wrote in his report, commissioned by Bondara, an internet sex shop.
According to report, ‘The Rise of the Robosexuals,’ reveals that virtual sex will become the norm by 2030, with connected sex toys emerging by 2035.
However, Dr. Pearson assures that human relationships will still remain valued, seeing robot sex as an augmentation, not a threat, to human sexuality.
