In an unexpected twist, a dead woman from Madhya Pradesh has returned alive leaving her family and the police in shock.
In Sept 2023, the woman’s family reported her missing from Mandsaur district which is close to Rajasthan border. A few days later Police found a woman’s body in Jhabua District. Her face and head were crushed heavily with a stone.
Police circulated the picture on social media and other police stations. The family identified the body on the basis of a tattoo inked on her hand and a black thread tied on her left leg. The body was handed over to the family who performed her last rites.
A case was filed against four men who were supposedly the accused, who had kidnapped the woman. The police had enough evidence to prove the accused and put up a charge sheet against them. The matter has now been forwarded to court.
According to the statement given by woman she was sold by the accused to another man, who had since then been living with him and finally after 18 months, got a chance to escape from that house.
Her return has bought immense joy to her family and children.
