Woman dies while taking selfie near vintage train in Mexico, Watch viral video

In a shocking incident, a woman has died while taking selfie near vintage train in Mexico. It was reported that the woman who was in her mid-twenties was killed instantly by the approaching train as she was quite close to the tracks. The viral video of the incident has been captured by fellow tourists and is now making rounds on the internet.

This shocking video is a prime example of the frenzies that people are doing in order to get a social media attention.

The accident occurred as a crowd (which seemed to be tourists) gathered to take a photograph of the historic steam engine i.e. Empress. It is a historic steam engine that is officially known as Canadian Pacific 2816. As the train approached Hidalgo, the woman moved quite close to the tracks in order to take a selfie.

In the viral video we can see the woman wearing an orange top and standing near a child (who is expected to be her child. While the child moved away from the approaching train, the woman was hit by a projection from the train and collapsed on the spot. The video was uploaded on X handle- ManyFaces_Death and then went viral.

Speaking about the ‘Empress’ steam locomotive, it was built in 1930 and it starts its journey from Calgary in April, travelling through Canada, the United States and Mexico. It is part of the tour celebrating the formation of Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC). The tour ends in Mexico City on Friday. Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) has issued an official statement after this unfortunate incident.
