Woman Constable Performs Duty While Holding Baby, Video Goes Viral

A mother is often considered to be an epitome of love, sacrifice, patience and strength. We might have come across such instances in our life where we find it apt for a mother. However, such an instance of a mother holding her baby while performing duty has taken the social media on storm.

This incident took place in Chandigarh on March 5, 2021. A traffic constable named Priyanka was seen at the intersection of Sector 15/16/23/34 in the city with her child in her arms and regulating the traffic. The locals passing the particular intersection saw the cop and instantly captured the incident on their smartphones and then uploaded to social media. The pictures and videos of the cop on social media has received praise from the netizens

According to a report in The Tribune, two female cops including Priyanka were supposed to report duty at the intersection at 8 am on friday. However, they were found missing from duty by an official after which she was asked to report in that particular spot.

The video of the incident was tweeted by Journalist named Gagandeep Singh on his twitter handle. The user has praised the cop and said,’’ hats off to her spirit’’.
