A stunning vine snake video shared by wildlife photographer Ishan Shanavas reveals that snakes can amaze people too. Except scaring them. The footage shows a vine snake stunningly blending into its lush environment. The snake’s impressive camouflaging abilities making it nearly invisible.
In the viral video, Shanavas begins with “So here I have one of the most camouflaged and beautiful snakes of the Western Ghats. This is my personal favourit .” As the camera glides over the vibrant green landscape he adds, “If you look from afar, you might not be able to see anything. But if you look closely, zoom in and then you will be able to see a beautiful green vine snake just perched very carefully on that plant.”
He shared the amazing video on his Instagram page with caption, Vine snakes are some of the coolest snakes in India. They are a personal favourite, and this video should show you why. I mean, look at that camouflage! Thanks to Daimler for spotting this and filming this video!”
the vine snake is a species that are found in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and Africa. They are non venomous in nature. They are excellent climbers with distinctive narrow and pointed head, large round eyes and greenish-brown in color.
The video got over 1.5 million view just after few hours of being shared. social media users are flooding the comments section with amazement.
