The netizens are baffled over a video showing a seemingly Bihari woman, who was offering prayers during Chhath puja, shooing away a water snake she encountered during her Chhath offering in knee-deep water.
The video, which has gained huge likes on Instagram, shows the woman handling the otherwise alarming situation in a very calm and composed manner. As she stands in the knee-deep water as a part of the ritual during Chhath puja, a deadly snake slithers its way near her. The woman unperturbed by the deadly creature shoos away the snake by pouring water over it. As the snake swims away after being driven by the woman, she continues to do her ritual. The Internet is taken by storm over this strange encounter.
The woman seems no less than a superwoman under the guise of a desi Indian woman as she tackles this fearful situation with much ease. Posted with the caption, “Aunties are brave” the subtitle reads, “Aunty literally said: Hamari Chhath puja chal rahi hai disturb mat karo (Our Chhath puja is going on, please don’t disturb).”
