Watch: The Internet is amused by Astronaut’s peaceful Yin Yoga session in space
An astronaut's peaceful yin yoga session in space has gone viral, with viewers praising the graceful zero-gravity movements and calming visuals.
The internet has been enthralled by a video that shows an astronaut practicing yin yoga in space.
The video is shared by Sophie Adenot, who is a European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut.
In the zero-gravity surroundings of the cosmos, the astronaut was seen floating gently while going through some very slow and deliberately practiced poses, providing a visually stunning display that some onlookers found tranquil, fluid and almost surreal to watch.
In contrast to high-energy physical activity, yin yoga is centered on taking poses that are held and sustained for longer duration, which promotes the process of relaxing, stretching and focusing the attention.
The footage became the viral phenomenon of social media after it uploaded.
People have been sharing it across networks and the reaction has ranged from awe inspired and admiration.
One internet user dubbed the performance as a “magically elegant ballet” that also “makes you feel really calm and content.”
Others wrote, “makes me want to just lie down and float.”
It should not also come amiss, that the astronauts even in space continue their regimen to stay healthy and it turns out even if you are thousands of meters away from earth, it’s absolutely possible.
