Sacramento: Jay Brewer, a zookeeper from California zoo, got bitten by a reticulated python on his face while he was at work. The reticulated python is one of the largest snakes found in Asia, it is known for its color and pattern variations.

Jay Brewer has shared a video on his Instagram. “She got me I take a risk so I can get the babies in the incubator where it’s safe… in this case, I had to take one for the team,” he captioned the video.

In the video, the python is seen curling over the eggs and Jay Brewer attempts to get the black and yellow python eggs. Jay carefully lifts the eggs, Since he couldn’t manage with one hand he put down his stick to release his other hand to pick up the eggs.

It looks like the snake was protecting her eggs and was not happy about what Brewer was doing and decided to protect her eggs by attacking him on his face.
