While the torrential rains caused disruption and water logging in Mumbai, one animal lover didn’t let the stray residents of the city starve or go without shelter.
In a video posted by animal lover and feeder Het Vora, a stray dog can be seen tucked in a waterlogged building when he arrives at the spot with a bowl full of food for the petrified creature.
Net posted the video to his Instagram page, where he frequently uploads footage of himself rescuing stray animals and feeding them. In the video clip, he can be seen navigating through a building’s lobby and staircase area, which appeared to be submerged in water.
As Het got closer, holding up food, and pointed at the food, the dog automatically stood up. He wagged his tail and strut around eagerly while still sitting and waiting to eat the food that he got delivered! That short instance captured that amount of joy and relief to receive a plate of food to ease the rumbling in the hungry stomach during the difficult days.
In the caption he wrote, “Due to heavy rain and water logging conditions they are hiding themselves and are hungry!”
