In a terrifying incident, a man narrowly escaped from being eaten alive by lions at the Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad.

In a 1.2-minute-long video, it can be seen that a 31-year-old man had entered inside the lion enclosure of the Zoo and sitting on a rock just a few meters away from a lion which stared at him.

Some people also can be heard asking him not to climb down the rock rather return back carefully as early as possible. They also raised an alarm for help to rescue him.

Soon, some staff of the Zoological Park rushed to the spot and handed him over to the police after rescuing him. They also lodged a complaint against the man by identifying him as G Sai Kumar.

“G Sai Kumar had jumped inside the lion enclosure, which is off-limits to the public, and was walking over the boulders,” said a statement released by the Nehru Zoological Park.

“Lions are released in the exhibited enclosure at Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad which is an absolutely prohibited area. The man was rescued and caught by the zoo staff and handed over to the Bahadurpura Police station,” it said.

Meanwhile, the video of the chilling incident, which was caught on camera by a visitor, has gone viral on different social medial platforms.
