Recently a video of a woman carrying her pet lion has surfaced on the Internet and it has left netizens stunned. In the short clip, a woman can be seen carrying a struggling and squirming lioness firmly in her arms. The incident happened on Sunday when the lioness escaped in the Sabahiya area south of Kuwait City.

According to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anba, the lioness was kept as a pet by the woman in the video and her father when the animal accidentally escaped and terrified residents as it wandered the streets.
So far, the video has garnered more than 3.1 million views and several reactions. While some people were amazed by the video, others found the behavior of the lioness to be quite similar to that of a house cat.
