In a viral video from China, a giant fish attacked a mermaid girl inside an aquarium while she was performing her act.
In a very disturbing video going viral a Russian performer sustained critical injuries on her head, neck and eye while she was performing inside an aquarium in China.
A girl dressed as a mermaid was performing inside an aquarium at the ‘Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park’ in Yunnan province of China. Just when she was prepping to start her performance the 22-year-old Masha of Russian origin was attacked by a deadly giant Sturgeon fish.
The giant fish attacked the mermaid girl inside the aquarium. The sturgeon fish latches out on the head of the girl and she sustained injuries on her head, neck and eye. The nose clips she was wearing got destroyed while her goggles were also broken. As the giant fish attacked the mermaid girl she was visibly shaken while she was still asked by the team to continue the act. In the background the screaming on children and the audience can be heard as the sturgeon devoured the girl.
She was given 78 pounds (Rs 8400) as compensation and asked not to speak about it publicly. The video went viral on Douyin, Chinese equivalent of TikTok. The aquarium holds water from the Mekong and Yangtze rivers.
