Adorable baby elephant "Chotu" steals snacks from roadside fruit cart, charming the internet with its gentle and polite nature.
An adorable video of a baby elephant has gone viral. In the video, the baby elephant engages in a heart-melting act of swiping a snack from a roadside fruit cart. First slowly, Chotu ambles over to the cart and after some hesitation from the vendor, a lady hands a piece of sugar cane to the curious baby elephant.
The former IFS officer Susanta Nanda uploaded a video showing a bunch of elephants going along a tarred road. However, the star of the video was Chotu, the baby elephant. Chotu demonstrated its personality by just waiting (patiently) for the woman to give it the snack, not just to take it. Most people commenting were impressed by Chotu’s respectful manner. One person commented, “You can see that Chotu isn’t taking things. He is very patient until the lady offers him his snack. That is manly behaviour from a young age.”
While some people expressed concern about the elephants being in an urban setting, however, many more loved Chotu’s cuteness. “Any baby elephants should have free access to any food, anywhere, and at any time,” quipped one user. The clip has put smiles on many faces, and it’s evident that Chotu’s cute moment has captured hearts. As one user succinctly put it, “Chotu is too cute!”
