Viral Video: Safari tourist opens bus window to pet lion, see what happens next

Jungle safaris are surely thrilling but also scary at the same time. Often the news of wildlife encounters during such adventurous trips come to the surface, some even take a deadly turn. Similarly, a video of a tourist’s confrontation with a lion has gone viral on the Internet.

The clip shared on YouTube by Maasai Sightings, shot at Serengeti National Park in Africa, shows a man trying to pet a lion by extending his hand outside the safari bus’s window.

In the video, the man can be seen opening the window of the vehicle to pet the lion sitting close while trying to record the event on his phone. Within seconds, the animal can be seen getting annoyed and starts growling angrily at the man. Scared of his growls, the man quickly backed off the window and tries to close the window.

While sharing the video the channel wrote in the description box below, “A tourist in Serengeti decided to touch a male lion and almost got her face ripped off. This is a very dumb thing to do and you can easily get yourself killed or banned from a national park by doing this.”
