Kota: The Kota Police arrested a couple on Thursday after a viral video of couple romancing on bike was circulated widely on social media. The 1.44 minutes viral video showed them riding a bike on the National Highway, kissing and performing stunts.
The shameful incident is said to have occurred on National Highway 52 (NH-52) in Rajasthan’s Kota. User Manoj Sharma UP (@ManojSh28986262) uploaded the video to X. People in the comments section have called out the act as shameful and dangerous.
The video has received approximately 10,000 views and was quickly shared on social media. Soon, the nearby police at Nanta discovered the video and went into action to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
The Kota police station in Nanta informed the public via X that they had tracked down the biker using the bike’s registration number and arrested the couple as soon as the video surfaced.
Mohammad Wasim, 25, and Rizwana, 34, were accused of violating IPC sections 294 (obscene acts in public) and 279 (reckless driving endangering human safety).
Wasim and Rizwana worked in a private firm in Kota and came from different places. They informed the police that the incident took place last week, but the video was uploaded on Monday. Later, videos of them apologizing were shared on X, in which they stated that they would not do such things again.

In a similar case, a couple in Bangalore was arrested for doing similar stunts near Kewmpagoda Airport by the Yelahanka Traffic Police. According to the guy’s statement, the couple was about to get married soon and he was trying to impress the girl through his bike skills.
