Shocking! Youth dies of snake bite, family hangs his body in Ganga River hoping resurrection, watch

New Delhi: In an unusual incident, the body of a youth was hanged in the water of River Ganga in Uttar Pradesh recently with the hope of resurrection as the youth had died of snake bite. The incident took place in the Jahangirabad area of Bulandshahr in UP.

The deceased has been identified as Mohit Singh (20), a final year B.Com student.

As per reports, on April 26, during the second phase of General elections, the youth cast his vote and then went to his farm land to work. There, somehow he got bitten by a poisonous snake and fell unconscious.

After getting information about this, his family rushed him to the hospital. However, the youth succumbed to the snake venom.

Later, some people advised the family to keep the body immersed in the flowing water of the Ganga River so that the snake poison will come out of the body and the youth will resurrect.

Accordingly, the family hanged body of the youth immersed in the flowing water of the Ganges. However, after keeping the body in such a way for two days as no miracle happened, finally they cremated the body.

This unusual case of superstition has become the talk of the town. A video of the body hanged in the water has gone viral after getting shared on social media. X user Sachin Gupta shared the video today morning and so far within these few hours the post has already garnered a huge 281.2k views besides a larger number of comments.
