Responsible Emirates Airlines: returns back US man’s Apple watch lost at Dubai airport
The man got his lost custom Apple watch delivered to his doorstep by Emirates Airline, three days after he lost it at the Dubai airport. He was flying from Dubai to the US on Monday.
A popular YouTuber, Casey Neistat, took to his Twitter handle on Monday to state that he left his Apple watch at the security desk at Dubai International Airport. He further requested everyone to return him his belonging on being found.
Along with a picture of his watch he wrote, “I left my custom apple watch at security in the @emirates terminal in Dubai. if anyone finds it please gimme a call. i really liked that watch. (my phone number is embroidered under where it says ‘REWARD’) thank you.”

Three hours later, the airline responded to the tweet, saying, “Hi Casey. We’re checking on this with our airport team. We’ll let you once we have an update. Feel free to DM us if you need further assistance. Thanks.”

The airline did not only found the watch but also had it delivered to his doorstep in California. An elated Casey once again took to his Twitter to show gratitude to the airline as he wrote, “omg. first they put a shower on an airplane then they find my watch that i lost in the airport. is there nothing this airline can’t do?!”

On Thursday morning, Casey received the Apple watch in an envelope. He couldn’t contain himself from posting one more tweet expressing his happiness over the Emirates’ service.
3 days ago i left my apple watch at security in the Dubai airport. @emirates airline found the watch, put it on a plane, flew it to California, drove it to my house and handed it to me in an envelope. that was very nice of you Emirates, thank you. pic.twitter.com/uUJnh6LHlk

In another tweet he also mentioned that when he posted the first tweet about losing his watch, he had “thought all hope was lost.” He further added, “then, lost at sea, land appeared on the horizon.”

This was not the first time for Casey to lose something on airport. He said once he lost his wife’s suitcase on a local flight on their way to New York City for Christmas. And the suitcase was never recovered. The bag had his wife’s all the favourite clothes. This explains why the YouTuber is content with Emirate’s service.
when @candicepool and i flew to nyc for christmas i left her entire suitcase on the plane and it was never recovered. literally all of her fav clothes. there’s a pattern here; i’m not good at not losing everything. pic.twitter.com/tpsDOTK5Bt
