Uttar Pradesh: A heartbreaking incident occurred when a fire broke out in a high-residential building in Noida west resulting the tragic loss of a pet dog along with damaging three floors. The horrific incident happened at Echo Village 1 in Noida West.
Reportedly, the fire break out caused by firecrackers set off near by. The cracker later ignited parts of the building. Flames spreaded from the 17th floor to the 19th floor. Fortunately no injuries were reported.
Local residents mourned the tragic loss of the pet dog and expressed concerns about the dangers of firecrackers during festive celebrations.
According to the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), they have received around 78 calls regarding fire incidents across the city between 4 pm and 9 pm on Diwali. Fortunately, no major fires were reported amidst the influx of calls.
While conversing with an official from DFS, he said, “These calls were received between 4 pm and 9 pm. No major incident was reported from anywhere except two people getting injured in a fire on a bus.” As per sources, the bus incident took place in Dwarka’s Chhawala area around 6.30 pm. The incident happened when firecrackers carried by a passenger suddenly ignited and injured two people. Both of the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
