Massive Lightning Bolt Strikes Tree During Storm, Terrifying Video Goes Viral
Parents often tell their kids to not step outside during thunderstorms as the chances of being struck by the lightning are high by then. Yet, when it rains we look for a shed, especially a tree. Next time you take to try to save yourself from getting wet by standing under a tree, maybe remember this video.
Shared on Twitter by Wonder of Science, a video of a lightning bolt striking a tree right in the middle of the trunk has gone viral. The caption in the video reads, “This is why you should never stand under a tree during a storm.”
