In an unusual incident, a massive crocodile estimated to be over 20 feet long has been spotted in Port Blair. The video of the animal has gone viral across social media.
The video shows the giant reptile floating in the water looking almost like a small island. Some people believe it could measure up to 25 feet.
The video has already gained more than 5 million views with many comparing the animal to something from the dinosaur age.
One person commented, “That’s insane, looks like the dinosaur era has come back”. While another added, “The incredible thing is that, size aside, crocodiles truly represent living fossils. Their ancestors, the so-called Mesosuchians, lived about 200 million years ago alongside dinosaurs, and weren’t very different from today’s crocodiles.”
Crocodiles are reportedly common danger in Indonesia, while such sightings are usually rare in countries like the U.S.
This Port Blair crocodile is now being compared to legendary giants like Gustave also known as world’s most dangerous crocodile and Lolong.
