A man who had found a stone 17 years back thought it was gold but later he found it to be an ancient meteorite worth millions of dollars that could change his fortune. The man had initially thought that the stone was a chunk of gold from some other planet or outer space.
Here is the entire story, an Australian metal detecting enthusiast Dave Hole was convinced that he had found a precious metal for sure. But he was shocked when the rock was so strong that his hammer broke but the rock showed no signs of damage.
Reports said that Dave told a popular newspaper that he was happy to find the rock and wondered what it was back in 2015. However recently he took the rock to Melbourne Museum and the findings shocked him. He was ecstatic to find out that his piece of rock was a 1000-year-old meteorite.
It had got its forms from travelling through the Earth’s atmosphere, the Melbourne Museum told him. The rock was so valuable that it could easily earn him a mega fortune. The man was delighted at his luck.
