Dubai: The world is a strange place and its people are even stranger. Everyday something interesting happens somewhere and social media makes it viral. Another interesting video is making to the headlines nowadays. A video of a woman ordering camel ride via Uber has users buzzing.
Reportedly, the viral video was shot at Al Badayer along the Dubai-Hatta Road. As per the video, two woman were seen surfing the ride-hailing and transportation service mobile app Uber. They seemed to be lost in the desert and trying to get a rescue ride via the Uber app. Shortly they found out that a camel could be ordered just like cars by the Uber app. Out of curiosity to find out if this really works or not they ordered a camel ride. Few moments later, in a shocking turn of events, a man arrives with a camel, leaving the women visibly surprised. As the camel approaches, one of them shouts in disbelief, “we got lost and ordered a camel!”
The video was recorded by one of those lost woman who ordered the camel ride. One of them can be heard saying “we got lost and decided to open the Uber app, we are surprised to find that a camel could be ordered just as easily as a car” in the video. The video was posted on the popular social media platform Instagram by the Instagram account Jetset Dubai. The video gone viral after few moments of being posted amassing over three million views and burst of comments. While many users are stunned by the video, few users are questioning its authenticity.
Reacting to the video, one user commented, “Only in Dubai can you order a camel like it’s no big deal!”
Another user wrote, “This has to be staged, right? It’s too good to be true!”
A third user commented sarcastically, “Next time I’m ordering a flying carpet,”
Meanwhile a fourth user wrote, “Is Uber camel has number plate too.?”
