Parveen Kaswan, an Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, delighted the internet with a viral video of the two rescued baby elephants, Gajraj and Teesta. These little calves lost their mothers and were eventually rescued by the staff. Now, they’re growing up under the supervision of mahouts and forest officials.

In the sweet video, Gajraj and Teesta are seen playing with each other softly, snacking, and strolling freely with forest staff. Kaswan posted the video on X, mentioning in the caption a description of his meeting with the duo during a field visit. He wrote, “While at field, met Gajraj and Teesta yesterday who asked for their toll taxes. Both were saved after their mothers expired and were left in the forest. Now taken care of by able hands of our Mahauts, they continue to explore the adjoining forest.”

The video has collected tremendous love from social media followers, who just can’t have enough of the adorable calves. Many have thanked the forest team for taking care of them. Kaswan’s post has turned viral, with people sharing the sweet connection between the baby elephants and their caretakers.
