Raigarh: In a rare incident, a herd of cows sorrounded a car in the middle of a busy road here in Chhatisgarh. You will be surprised to know the reason behind the actions of the animals, who are in general gentle and don’t show such behaviour. The cows were trying to rescue a calf which got dragged by the car for 200 meters. Visuals from the undated incident have now surfaced on the internet. The video is now going viral on the internet.
As per the visual, a car hit a calf and dragged it on a busy road until a cow herd blocked the vehicle. After the young cow came under the vehicle, the cows rushed to stop the four-wheeler and save the animal. With the help of locals, the calf saw a narrow escape from death.
The video shows the car dragging the calf for some distance. Then it gets chased by a herd of cows and eventually they caught up to the car and stops it by surrounding it in the middle of the road. The cows then continue to move in circle around the car. The cows ensured the road was blocked to facilitate the calf’s rescue. Apart from the cows, several bystanders also came to the rescue of the young animal. When people saw the calf was stuck below the car, they rushed to help and saved the life of the young animal. People gathered around the vehicle and bended down to pull out the calf carefully. At the end of the footage, the calf was rescued alive. The animal suffered some injuries and now is undergoing treatment.
