Farmer belonging to Rajasthan was distressed to see the condition of the cash that he had buried to prevent theft and forgot about it. They unbury the cash a year later and found out that the cash was left to even be used.
This incident happened with a 50-year-old man named Mangilal. He is a resident of Newai village of Rajasthan.
The cash that was buried came after he sold a plot as he wanted to make a house of his own in his village. So he just buried Rs 5 lakhs after keeping it in a bag, the amount which he got after selling the land.
After selling the plot he came a month after to retrieve the cash but who couldn’t remember the exact spot where he had buried it.
The bag was found when it rained, the polythene pouch containing the money surfaced from the field during sowing. The notes had turned into such pieces that even the bank refused to exchange them.
