Dog fights off mountain lion to save owner, netizens praise its bravery
Pets can go to any extent to save their owners, and time and again it has been proved. Stories and videos of such bravery shown by pet dogs, cats, etc often come forward and melts hearts on the Internet. In the light of it, yet another story of a pet dog’s bravery has surfaced online. Apparently a dog named Eva fought a mountain lion to save her human.
Erin Wilson was hiking near the Trinity River in Northern California along with her 2-and-a-half year old Belgian Malinois, Eva. During their time there, a mountain lion suddenly pounced at the 24-year-old, scratching her shoulder through the jacket. The hiker said that she yelled ‘Eva’ and the dog came running to her and hit the big cat really hard.
Erin’s husband informed to the local news that Eva suffered two scull fractures, a punctured sinus cavity and severe damage to her left eye.

She’s spent a few days in the hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery and return home tonight. We are proud to award her our highest honour.”

The twitter page also confirmed about the current health status of the dog and mentioned that she is now at home and is safe.
