Since the Taliban assumed control of Afghanistan, the country has experienced a lot of economic and political turbulence.
A former television anchor Musa Mohammadi in Afghanistan has been forced to sell food on the side of a street to earn a living after losing his job.
Kabir Haqmal, a former employee of Hamid Karzai’s administration, demonstrated how many talented Afghan professionals have been driven into poverty in his recent Twitter post.

Mohammadi worked in the media for years, but due to Afghanistan’s severe economic circumstances, he now sells food to make ends meet, according to Mr. Haqmal’s caption.
Notably, Mr Mohammadi’s story goes viral on the internet. It even caught the eye of Ahmadullah Wasiq, the Director-General of National Radio and Television. After this Wasiq posted a tweet and mentioned that he can appoint the previous TV anchor and newsman to his department, reportedly.
