A 12-foot python crawled into a police jeep while the officers were on a midnight patrol in the town of Bhanpura in Madhya Pradesh. The snake somehow curled beneath the vehicle, presumably seeking shelter from heavy rains. The police officers were unaware of the snake’s presence until the driver saw it and braked. All the officers rushed out of the vehicle for safety.

Luckily, the python didn’t harm anyone and peacefully moved out of the jeep all by itself, slithering into the surrounding forest region. The ordeal was recorded on camera, which afterwards went viral on social media. This surprising incident points towards the difficulty of handling wildlife, particularly during the rainy season when snakes take shelter.

In a similar accident, a student had unknowingly pedaled his bike carrying a Russell’s Viper underneath the fuel tank for a span of two hours. The snake was found when a mechanic removed the tank cover at a garage. Such accidents highlight the unexpected locations where snakes like to hide, particularly during the monsoon season.
