Youth turns critical after father attacks with axe in Odisha’s Sambalpur district, watch
It has been alleged that because the youth did not go to graze goat, his father attacked him with the axe.
Rairakhol: In a shocking incident, a man attacked his own son with the help of an axe and accordingly the son turned critical. The incident took place in Sambalpur district of Odisha.
The cause of the attack is rare. It has been alleged that because the youth did not go to graze goat, his father attacked him with the axe. The incident took place in the Ghunginali village under Kadaligarh Panchayat of Rairakhol Police Station limits.
The accused has been identified as Rajendra Loi and the victim is his middle son Manoj Loi (22).
As per reports, a fight broke out between Rajendra Loi and his middle son Manoj Loi (22) over grazing of goats. Rajendra, in a fit of anger, attacked his son Manoj with a sharp axe. Manoj sustained grievous injury on his right shoulder and fell on the ground in a critical condition.
Seeing this, the neighbours immediately rushed to the spot, rescued Manoj and rushed him to Redhakhol hospital in an ambulance.
However, after seeing the health condition of the patient the doctor there advised to immediately shift the patient to VIMSAR in Burla of Sambalpur district.
It has been alleged that by the time this article was written, Police had not reached the spot.
