Malkangiri: In a shocking incident, a youth was allegedly stoned to death in Malkangiri district of Odisha recently. His body was found in a pool of blood today near Janbai village.
The deceased youth has been identified as Dhanurdhar Talab of Paparmetla village situated in the Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri district.
As per reports, the said youth was missing for the last five days. Today his body was found lying on the ground near the Janbai village. His head has been seen sustaining a lethal injury which indicates that he was stoned to death.
After getting the information, Police reached the village and seized the body.
So far the motive behind the murder is not known. Following the incident, tension gripped the village.
Further investigation of the case is underway.
