Ganjam: A youth was killed in a scooter accident near Baulia village under Khariaguda police limits in Ganjam district of Odisha.
The deceased has been identified as Ramchandra Sahu. According to reports, the scooter lost its balance and hit the tree since it was at high speed.
On being informed, the police arrived at the spot to rescue Ramchandra and he was rushed to Patrapur Community Health Center (CHC). He was declared dead by the doctors there.
The body has been sent for post mortem to Berhampur. The police has launched a probe into the incident.
