Bhubaneswar: A youth was allegedly kidnapped in a car in front of a shopping mall in the Rasulgarh area of Bhubaneswar to extract loan amount that he took from one person.
Sources say, Priyabrata Sahu had taken Rs 20 lakh from one Keshab, resident of Gadakana in Bhubaneswar in pretext of getting him a government job and also did not return back his money which he had allegedly taken from Keshab. Later, he had lodged a complaint against Sahu at Mancheswar police station.
Yesterday, when Keshav spotted Priyabrata along with his friends at the shopping mall in Rasulgarh area. He intercepted him and picked up the youth in a white car. While Priyabrata’s friends shouted for help, it was of no help. Later, his friend lodged an FIR with Sahid Nagar police in this regard. Soon, a police team reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident.
