Youth hacks uncle to death in Odisha’s Keonjhar district
The incident took place in the Sunduria village under Anandpur Police Station limits in the district.
Anandpur: In a shocking incident, a youth hacked his uncle to death in Keonjhar district of Odisha yesterday night. The incident took place in the Sunduria village under Anandpur Police Station limits in the district.
The deceased uncle has been identified as Jagabandhu Deogam and the accused youth has been identified as Baisinga Deogam.
As per reports, Jagabandhu was hacked to death with an axe while he was sleeping in his house yesterday night. Following the attack as he screamed the family members rushed to the crime scene. They then rushed him to Anandpur hospital. However, the doctors there declared him dead.
A complaint has been registered at the police station regarding the incident in which the family members of the deceased complained that the nephew of the deceased killed him due to past enmity.
After getting information Police reached the spot and then the hospital and initiated investigation.
Meanwhile the accused nephew has fled from the scene.
