Kantamal: A youth was brutally killed at Gohipita village under Manamunda police limits in Boudh district on Sunday morning.
The deceased, identified as Kaibalya Pradhan from Damamunda village, was reportedly returning home from work when he was brutally attacked and killed.
As per reports, Kaibalya was working as a cook for an agency. While he was returning from work, he was allegedly assaulted and murdered by some unknown miscreants. His body was found near a pond in the village.
On seeing his body, some locals informed the police about the incident. The Manamunda police reached the spot and launched a probe.
Further investigation is underway.
