Woman pours hot water on mother-in-law, father-in-law in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district, watch
Dhenkanal: In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly knowingly poured hot water on her mother-in-law and father—in-law in Dhenkanal district of Odisha today morning. The incident took place in full public view on broad daylight in the Patana Sahi in Gopalpur area under Bhuban Police Station limits in the district.
The victims have been identified as Buddhimanta Sahu and his Baja Sahu of Patana Sahi, the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the accused respectively. The accused daughter-in-law has been identified as Nandini.
As per reports, the victim couple had visited the house of their elder son (and his family) in Udaliapashi. There a verbal spat erupted between the daughter-in-law and her in-laws. Later, it took an ugly turn and the daughter-in-law poured hot water on her father-in-law and mother-in-law. The whole incident has been video recorded and the video has gone viral.
In the video it can be seen that the accused woman poured hot water from the rooftop while many people are witnessing and trying to stop her. A male is also seen pelting stones from the rooftop accompanying the accused lady.
Following the incident, a complaint has been lodged at Bhuban Police Station and accordingly Police have initiated probe of the case.
Further investigation of the matter is underway. Till this report was written, no arrest had been made in this connection.
