Balasore: A woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband at Santatentuli Sahi under Khantapada police limit in the district last night.
The deceased has been identified as Basanti, wife of accused Dalei Singh. Police said that the couple had an argument over a petty issue.
The husband who was in an inebriated condition later assaulted his wife with a wooden plank leading to her death.
Police have arrested the killer husband and are further interrogating him to ascertain the circumstances leading to the crime.
