Truck Gutted in Fire on Road in Nuapada, Driver Escapes Unhurt, Watch
The driver was reportedly cooking in the driver’s cabin in the truck at the time when fire suddenly broke out.
Nuapada: A truck carrying electric poles was reduced to ashes after catching fire on the Biju Expressway in Nuapada district of Odisha on Wednesday. The incident took place near Saradhapur Babamath under Sinapali block. The driver had a narrow escape.
According to reports, the truck was coming from Dharmagarh and heading towards Nuapada when the incident occurred.
The driver was reportedly cooking in the driver’s cabin in the truck at the time when fire suddenly broke out. Sensing danger, he managed to jump out of the cabin and saved his life. However, within minutes, the entire truck was engulfed in flames and burnt down completely.
After getting information, Sinapali fire brigade reached the spot and doused the flames, but the truck was already gutted. No casualties were reported in the incident.
