Timeline for Plus Three e-Admission in Odisha extended, check details

Bhubaneswar: Amid chaos and confusions among the students and their guardians over filling up online application for Degree Courses (Plus Three/graduations) without getting their Plus Two results, Odisha Higher Education Department on Tuesday extended the timeline for Plus Three e-Admission till June 1, 2025.

It is to be noted here that the timeline for e-Admission into all (+3) Degree Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), including Self-Financing Colleges and Sanskrit Colleges of the State under SAMS, was ending today. However, now it has been extended to June 1, 2025, informed the Department in a post on its X handle.

As per the fresh announcement, the online Common Application Form (CAF) will be available on the website www.samsodisha.gov.in till May 21, 2025.

  • The last date for submitting the online CAF through www.samsodisha.gov.in (Online CAF submission which has been going on since Apr 16, 2025) has been extended till June 1, 2025 (11:45 PM).
  • Availability of OTP based Editing of the CAF (if required), by the eligible applicants for the CAF submitted earlier: May 21, 2025 (2 PM).
  • Uploading the +2/ equivalent marks by the applicants, who have already submitted their CAF earlier: June 1, 2025 (11:45 PM).
  • Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (For First/Second/Third/ Waiting List Round Selection), Admission dateline, Commencement of 1st Year Classes: Dates will be notified by the Higher Education Department later.

The State government’s decision to extended the Plus Three e-Admission till June 1 came as a big relief for the students who were in a state of confusion either to take part in the online application process or not as their Plus Two results are yet to be declared.

However, earlier in the day School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond had clarified that the Plus 2 exam results 2025 will be out within two days and he would request the Higher Education Department to extend the last date for the Plus 3 form fill up.
