Tiger captured crossing road in Odisha’s Ganjam, video goes viral

Ganjam: The tiger terror has resurfaced in Ganjam as a tourist’s camera captured a footage of a tiger crossing the road on the National highway 16 near NIST engineering college on Wednesday.

“The tiger is roaming around since October 25 in the jungles and occasionally crosses the road”, said Rudra Pratap Rath, Additional conservator of Forest (ACF), Berhampur. Additionally the pug marks of the tiger were found in the Narasinghgarh village.

A team consisting of ACF Berhampur and Dibyaranjan Sahu, forest ranger, Digapahandi  along with others are have cleared that the pug marks seen were of the tiger.

Two trap cameras have been installed to track the tiger and put an end to the tiger terror in the district.

On October 27, the tiger had killed a bull.
