Bhadrak: The villagers of Banapur village under Basudevpur police station limits in Bhadrak district heaved a sigh of relief as they caught two robbers red-handed last night.
Flaming with rage they detained the two thieves and beat them before handing them to police on Thursday night. According to sources, the thieves were trying to break into one Prafulla Behera’s house when the villagers nabbed them.
They were beaten black and blue by the furious villagers after which they were handed over to the police. Police have detained them and is carrying out an enquiry.
