These senior IPS officers transferred, Susanta Nath posted DG of Prisons & Correctional Services

1993 batch IPS officer Susanta Kumar Nath, who joined the Home Department after repatriation from the Government of India, was posted as the Director General (DG) of Prisons & Correctional Services.

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government today transferred and gave new appointments to three senior IPS officers, informed the Home Department in a notification.

According to the notification, the following officers, who have returned from central deputation, have been appointed to new positions:

1993 batch IPS officer Susanta Kumar Nath, who joined the Home Department after repatriation from the Government of India, was posted as the Director General (DG) of Prisons & Correctional Services.

Likewise, 1998 batch IPS officer Dayal Gangwar has been posted as Additional Director General of Police, Communication. Currently, Gangwar is posted at the Police State Headquarters as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP).

Similarly, 2000 batch officer Prateek Mohanty, who joined the Home Department after repatriation from the Government of India, has been appointed as ADGP, Headquarters. He will succeed to Dayal Gangwar.

On the other hand, Narayan Nayak, OPS (S), AIG of Police, Marine & Coastal Security, Odisha also has been transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Subarnapur district.
